First Look NC Home Inspections is licensed by the North Carolina Home Inspection Licensure Board (NCHILB) and adhere to the Standards of Practice set forth by the State of North Carolina. You can click on the NCLHIA logo to see the standards of practice.

Each inspection includes a written report detailing the various components of the home. The report format is a combination of checklists, written components, and pictures. The report is typically made available within 24 hours of completion of the inspection and is delivered electronically as a PDF file. Provided we have unrestricted access, the following components will be inspected: structural, roof system, exterior, garage, plumbing, electrical, foundation (crawl space/basement), interior, heating and air conditioning, insulation and ventilation, built in kitchen appliances.

These reports typically contain an overview of the property, a summary of issues observed, pictures of those same issues,
and the main body of the report.

Buyer Inspections, Pre-listing Inspections and Warranty Inspections

These inspections are basically the same inspection except for whom they are prepared. As a buyer your home is likely the single largest purchase you will make and you should want to know what you are buying. As a seller, you can be prepared to put your house on the market with confidence. Once you are in the home and your home was purchased with a warranty we can perform an 11 month full house inspections for the purpose of warranty claims.
